Pajamas for Pals is a community based organization that has serving Staten Island for over 13 years bringing new pjs to infants to adults founded by Stephanie Prendergast of Westerleigh, SI, NY in 2011.
We have served the foster care homes, the disabled, the elderly, autism and special needs group homes, sick, domestic violence survivors, cancer patients and veterans.
The drive honors her mother Diana Prendergast who in 2014 battled septic shock with organ failure, coma, heart attack , stroke, intubated and came out a survivor. It took her nine years to stabilize as it is her tradition to buy new pjs since Stephanie was a child, now 52.

How Pajamas for Pals came to be
Diana Prendergast
The “Pajamas for Pals” program was inspired by Prendergast’s mother, Diana, who survived multiple life-threatening conditions, including septic shock, a coma, and a heart attack. Diana’s strength through chronic illness motivated Prendergast to help others.
